Crime Stoppers is a partnership between community, media and law enforcement. Since its founding in 1976, the Crime Stoppers program has had an average conviction rate of approximately 95% on cases solved by a tip to the program.
As of March 2020, Crime Stoppers has helped lead law enforcement to over 750,000 arrests and helped clear over 1 million criminal cases.
Crime Stoppers programs have paid over $114,000,000 in rewards and recovered over $1 billion in property.
